Coffee and I Needed a Break...
Then I Found This Little Purple Can
The Afternoon Slump Didn't Stand a Chance
There comes a certain time every afternoon...
Usually somewhere around 2:37...
When my brain quietly clocks out.
Not dramatically.
It just leaves.
One minute I'm folding laundry.
The next minute I'm standing in the pantry wondering why I walked in there.
Again.
Friend...
If you've ever put your phone in the refrigerator...
Looked everywhere for your reading glasses while they were sitting on top of your head...
Or reheated the same cup of coffee three times because you forgot it existed...
Pull up a chair.
You're among your people.
Coffee and I Have Had a Long Relationship
We've been through a lot together.
Well...
Mostly coffee has been through a lot.
I'd pour a fresh cup.
Answer one phone call.
Now it's cold.
Heat it up.
Start unloading the dishwasher.
Cold again.
By the third trip through the microwave...
That coffee has lived more lives than a soap opera character.
One day I finally looked at my mug and said,
"Friend... I think we both need a break."
The Afternoon Energy Crash Is Real
Nobody warns you about this part of adulthood.
Morning?
You're unstoppable.
By lunchtime...
You're making progress.
Then somewhere around mid-afternoon...
Your body suddenly says,
"Best I can do is stare blankly at the wall for fifteen minutes."
Meanwhile...
The laundry isn't folded.
The dishes aren't washed.
The dog wants outside.
The grocery list still isn't written.
And somebody has the nerve to ask,
"What's for supper?"
My Brain Starts Buffering
You know that little spinning circle on your computer?
That's my brain after lunch.
Somebody asks me a question.
I just blink.
Eventually...
Words happen.
It's not that I'm lazy.
It's not that I'm unmotivated.
I'm simply running on fumes.
Then I Discovered This Little Purple Can
I wasn't looking for anything fancy.
I wasn't looking for another trendy drink with ingredients I couldn't pronounce.
I just wanted something to help me get through the afternoon without feeling like I needed a nap under the kitchen table.
That's when I tried V8 Energy Pomegranate Blueberry Energy Drink.
Friend...
It surprised me.
First...
It actually tasted good.
Second...
It was just enough of a little afternoon pick-me-up to help me finish what I started.
And around here...
Finishing something deserves a celebration.

Why I Keep Reaching for It
I'm a simple woman.
I don't need a drink with a fifteen-word name.
I don't need something that tastes like melted bubble gum mixed with regret.
I just want something refreshing that helps me power through the afternoon.
What I like about this one:
❤️ Easy to grab
❤️ Great pomegranate blueberry flavor
❤️ Perfect afternoon pick-me-up
❤️ Fits easily in the refrigerator
❤️ Convenient 8-ounce can
❤️ Nice to have on busy days
Sometimes the simplest things are the ones that stick around.
Life Doesn't Stop Just Because You're Tired
Wouldn't that be nice?
Imagine if the laundry looked at you and said,
"You seem exhausted today. We'll handle ourselves."
Or the dishes politely washed themselves.
Or the dust bunnies packed their bags and moved next door.
Instead...
Life keeps life-ing.
Which means sometimes we all appreciate a little boost that helps us finish the day.

Friend...
Can I tell you something?
You don't have to accomplish everything today.
The laundry can wait.
The dust will still be there tomorrow.
Dinner doesn't have to look like a magazine cover.
Some days...
Success is simply making it to bedtime with your sense of humor still intact.
If a little afternoon pick-me-up helps you finish the grocery list...
Fold the towels...
Or simply remember why you walked into the kitchen...
I'd call that a pretty good day.
