starts about thirty years ago.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNot with a business plan.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNot with investors.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNot with a fancy office.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt started with a woman trying to keep all her ducks in a row while discovering her ducks had apparently joined separate witness protection programs.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFor most of my life, I've been doing what many of us do.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWorking.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCooking.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHelping people.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePaying bills.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLosing my reading glasses while wearing them.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eStanding in the kitchen wondering why I walked in there.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThen standing there long enough to forget I was wondering.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLife has a funny way of teaching lessons when you're too busy looking for a pen that was in your hand the entire time.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOver the years, I've worn a lot of hats.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSome fit.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSome didn't.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSome should have come with warning labels.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBut through every season of life, one thing never changed:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI loved helping people.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI loved feeding people.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI loved listening to people.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAnd Lord help me, people have always had stories.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIf you've ever spent time around me, you already know I could walk into a grocery store for milk and leave knowing somebody's life story, their cousin's parole status, their blood pressure, and what happened to their neighbor's emotional support peacock.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI don't go looking for these conversations.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThey find me.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSomewhere along the way, I realized something.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePeople are tired.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNot just physically tired.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSoul tired.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBudget tired.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDecision tired.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\"What on earth am I making for supper again?\" tired.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePeople are carrying heavy things.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThey're grieving loved ones.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eRaising families.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eStretching paychecks.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eStarting over.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTrying to figure out what comes next.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAnd many of them feel like nobody sees them.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eRustic Roots Pantry was born for those people.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe real people.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe imperfect people.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe people whose grocery budget and gas tank are having a fistfight.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe people who have burned supper, forgotten appointments, cried in the parking lot, laughed at the worst possible time, and somehow kept showing up anyway.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn other words...\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMy people.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAround here, you'll find cookbooks, stories, encouragement, laughs, days.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWords for broken hearts.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHope for people trying to get their ducks back from witness protection.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMost importantly, you'll find a place where you don't have to pretend you've got it all together.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBecause none of us do.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNot me.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNot you.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNot even the lady on social media who somehow folded seven loads of laundry, meal-prepped for two weeks, made sourdough bread, and organized her pantry before 9 AM.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFrankly, I'm suspicious of her.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eRustic Roots Pantry isn't just a
